In speaking to our Business Partners recently, it
seems that this summer is a lot busier than usual. Lots of installations
happening probably due in large part to the ACCPAC promotions from March.
This, of course, opens the door for new opportunities to introduce
UniDevCo
products. Once your clients have a chance to work with their new installs
for a while, they will come back to you with their wish list of what else they
want ACCPAC to do for them. That's where UniDevCo products will come in.
In many cases we will have the solutions that your clients want. Watch for
these opportunities so you can take advantage of them and get a happier client
in the process.
Let's face it, not every user of an application
has the same requirements. So why should they be forced to look at the
same screen layout? With UniDevCo products, including
AR Inquiry, you can
customize the display for each user.
The Customer Inquiry screen can display as many
as 25 different tabs. If a specific user has no interest in the
information displayed on a particular tab, they don't have to display that tab.
See this
screen shot for a look at how this is accomplished. The same is true of
displaying comments in Customer Inquiry. You can view all comments or
limit them to only those entered by a specific user. You can also limit
your view to only comments of a certain type e.g. for collections. See

These features are a great way for each user to
have a custom display that suits the way they work, keeping their displays more
user-friendly and them more productive.
Over the past few days we have been experiencing
problems with our hardware firewall. A replacement is on order and the
problem should be rectified in the next few days. In the meantime we may
experience intermittent outages so please bear with us.
