Using the UniFinder in Version 5.1

Issue:  Use of the Finder limits display 

In Version 5.1, the finder in UniDevCo products has been refined to allow selective searches.  More criteria for searching have been added.  You may choose the field you want to search on from a drop down list.  You may then choose how you want to search on that field.  When a search has been performed using specific criteria, that criteria becomes the default for subsequent searches until the criteria changes.

Use of the Auto Find option will also change the display.  When the Auto Find option is selected, the display will be limited by the search criteria and display only the selection that matches.   

If the desired display is to show all records but focus on a specific selection, de-select the Auto Find option and chose “Starts with” as the selection criteria.
