Using Standard Costing and UniStockCard 4.1AOn the sale of a Standard Cost item, Standard Costing Method in ACCPAC posts the actual average cost of the item to the General Ledger Inventory account. The Inventory Control History transaction uses the standard cost of the item. As these two costs may not be the same, there may be a difference between the General Ledger and the Inventory History Transaction. UniStockCard draws the information from the IC History Transaction file. This means that the Item Valuation report may not balance to the General Ledger Inventory account. This applies to the standard costing method only. This problem was solved in UniStockCard 4.2 by adding an additional field for actual cost which is retrieved and stored during generation of the UniStockCard records. |
