Running IR with IC - Data integrity check and errors in IC.

Inventory Receipts 6.1B

The original IR6.1B disks install a modified version of the ICDCHECK.LD4 file (data integrity check phase 2) for IC6.1B which prevents IC from checking quantities on PO as this function is now controlled by IR.

This is also required for IC6.5A. The older file (for IC6.1B) installed with the IR6.1B disks will cause a critical error when running a data integrity check with new IC6.5A data. To run IR6.1B with IC6.5A, get and install the IR/IC patch disk from our web site AFTER you have installed IC6.5A.

If integrity check errors continue, re-install the patch file which will read the IC version you have installed and will install the correct IC integrity check file and IR system files. The patch file should be unzipped with the "-d" option to an install disk and installed in ACCPAC with the normal F3-Install function of the Windowing System Manager.

Inventory Receipts 6.5A

Both versions of the IC integrity check program (ICDCHECK.LD4) are included on disk 1 of the IR6.5A install disks in the directories \IC6.1 and \IC6.5. These programs were not compressed to make it easier to simply copy the correct file from the disk. If you are having problems with the IC integrity check, go to the IC program directory \ICASP on your hard drive where ACCPAC Plus is installed. Place the IR6.5A install disk 1 into your A: drive and type "copy a:\ ic6.x\icdcheck.ld4" (where x is the version of IC you are running, 1 or 5) and hit enter.  One file will be copied.

To check if you are running the correct version of the ICDCHECK.LD4 program the files size and dates are IC6.1B file size 33,918 dated November 1, 1998 and IC6.5A file size 37,047 dated January 25, 1999.
